"A work of art is the unique result of a unique temperament. Its beauty comes from the fact that the author is what he is. It has nothing to do with the fact that other people want what they want. Indeed, the moment that an artist takes notice of what other people want, and tries to supply the demand, he ceases to be an artist, and becomes a dull or an amusing craftsman, an honest or a dishonest tradesman. He has no further claim to be considered as an artist."-Oscar Wilde
"Sorrow is Knowledge: they who know the most Must mourn the deepest o'er the fatal truth, The Tree of Knowledge is not that of Life." -Lord Byron

Daniel Dennett: ‘I don’t like theory of mind’ – interview | Science |guardian.co.uk

I have a confession to make. I don’t like Mr. Dennet. He is a founding member of the New Atheist movement that is proving to be more fascist than enlightening. He’s an elitist with a personal agenda ostensibly focused on bringing about a new form of consciousness. Unfortunately his subversive rhetoric doesn’t match is Santa Claus persona.
